possible activities around Udden:
Northern Sweden is a beautiful travel destination even in winter. With a bit of luck, you might even witness the natural spectacle of the Northern Lights, encounter reindeer herds, or spot a moose cow with her calves in the forest. Depending on the weather, temperature, and snow conditions, various activities are possible:
  • Cross-country skiing: Whether along a nearby river, on a groomed trail, or on a solo tour through the Swedish forests – discovering the tranquility of the winter landscape on your own is a unique experience.
  • Snowshoeing: The surroundings can also be explored on foot, revealing special places along the way.
  • Swimming in an ice hole: Feel the adrenaline and endorphin rush and experience a unique swim in the ice and snow landscape.

  • Visiting sled dogs: Contact our friends Fabien and Laura from Flarken Adventure.

  • Snowmobile tours: Tours can be booked in advance in Svansele Vildmark.

  • Ice fishing: A meditative form of fishing where a hole is drilled into the ice and the fish is caught with a short rod, fine line, and bait just above the ground.

  • Campfire in the snow: On short days, there's nothing better than ending them in a cozy atmosphere around a fire, where warm reindeer hides and a delicious elk or reindeer steak complete the experience with typical Nordic flair.

We value sustainability and care about nature, infrastructure and our fellow humans - respectful treatment is very important to us.

Guests with dogs are welcome. As our paradise is also appreciated by many wild animals, dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the area.
