tips, advice and possible destinations for your excursions:
We will be happy to advise you upon arrival and help you find your personal goals in the region. The opportunities for adventure in the surrounding nature are varied, so there is something for all ages, fitness levels and experience levels:
-
paddling: Discover the islands and barbecue spots along the Skellefteälven River directly from the campsite, excursions with paddle and pedal (combination of canoe and bicycle); trips to idyllic lakes, or experience the sea by canoe (at least one hour trip)
-
bike paths
-
hiking through heaths, hills and open forests
-
secluded fishing spots and rapid rivers for fly fishing, as well as corresponding fishing licenses (daily or weekly)
-
secret places for juicy berries and gorgeous boletus mushrooms; but be careful: not all bright berries or beautiful mushrooms are edible – only eat what you know and can safely identify
-
swimming areas with long sandy beaches
-
barbecue areas and wonderful places to play and relax
-
fascinating waterfalls and rapids, as well as exciting museums
We value sustainability and care about nature, infrastructure and our fellow humans - respectful treatment is very important to us.
Guests with dogs are welcome. As our paradise is also appreciated by many wild animals, dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the area.
