Innerviksfjärden is a 1'530-hectare nature reserve where 190 bird species have been recorded, about 80 of which breed. The tour from Skellefteå offers a fantastic opportunity to experience this paradise from the water. There are two barbecue areas along the route, perfect for a coffee break.
Please note that between April 15th and June 1st, access to the nature reserve is restricted to marked paths to protect wildlife.
The tour begins in Stackgrönnan. Paddle a short distance upstream to the narrow, tree-lined channel that branches off to the left. Once you reach the bay, you can either paddle back the same way or take a longer tour around Örviken. On this section, you'll paddle along the river mouth towards the sea, where it can get windy.
