The majestic rapids of the Vindelälven River are a popular destination. The foaming rapids can be explored via boardwalks and bridges. A wheelchair ramp leads to the first suspension bridge over the river. Near the parking area, there are several barbecue areas and a small restaurant. A visit to the rapids can be ideally combined with a hike up to Storliden, where 250-year-old pine trees stand. While the terrain there is rugged and steeper, the reward at the top is a fantastic view.
